Learn About How Race/Ethnicity, Culture, and Bias Integrated into Multiple Domains of Practice in Early Childhood Education:
Pedagogical approaches that aim to counteract discrimination and injustice have been identified as potential ways to reduce pervasive and persistent inequities in education outcomes, which emerge as early as preschool. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion | APA's Inclusive Language Guide
The American Psychological Association (APA), has created an Inclusive Language Guide as a helpful resource for all. In the second edition of the guide, the APA builds on its commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) by addressing harmful language and offering updated definitions. The guide aims to raise awareness and support the use of culturally sensitive terms. APA remains dedicated to evolving the guide to promote effective communication in an increasingly diverse society.
26 Children’s Books to Support Conversations on Race, Racism and Resistance

The article linked below also provides a list of children’s books that can assist in having these conversations.
